Rodeway Inn & Suites New Orleans Gentilly

Not the best hotel I've been to, but for the price it was suitable. You get what you pay for, and I have been to much worse in different cities for this same price. Being in a major city, you always have to stay aware of your surrounding but I never felt unsafe in the area. I have family attending school in the neighborhood so this was the perfect spot. I probably will stay here again when I go back to NOLA.

Honestly this is a nice place to stay! I landed a job last minute in New Orleans & needed a temporary place to crash until I find my home. It does have some age to it, yet I was suprised at how decent it is. Especially for a decent price when you need somewhere to stay and explore the city. People are really friendly! I definitely recommend if you're on a budget & are not picky.

I was here last week on business. I booked the room and then saw all these nasty one star reviews and got nervous...but upon arrival, the place was more than fine. It's a budget hotel, so not like super quality, but I found it to be very enjoyable. I would stay here again if I were to go to New Orleans again.

The sign says Quality Inn, but all their products say Econo Lodge. The attendant was pleasant and efficient. The outside was a little trashy (the first thing I stepped on, hopping out of the truck, was a used condom), but the room was very nice. Very clean and the air conditioning worked very well. The bathroom light was a little rickety, almost strobe-like, but it is New Orleans, so there are no high standards for the electricity. My boyfriend and I have decided to make New Orleans an annual thing and we would stay here again. AND they had a nice breakfast layout.

Don’t believe all the bad reviews. I read them and didn’t want to consider this place, but I’m glad I gave it a try. I was there for 4 nights and it was great! Cable, WiFi, free breakfast (6AM-9AM), you can also view the room before considering it and house keeping was great and very friendly! Also, there are many fast food places walking distance as well as a Starbucks, Walmart and family dollar. Don’t let these bad reviews fool you. I will definitely be staying here again whenever I go back to Louisiana.

I enjoyed my one night here. It's not luxurious but it's clean. No bugs. Easy check in. Didn't hold a deposit. Tv was nice. Lots of movie channels. Soft pillow top mattress. Shampoo, soap, etc. Even coffe maker in room. I'd recommend and stay again. The $100 a night is a little steep, but hey it's the Big Easy. You won't find much for less than that. Other than the hostels.

Stayed at this location for the weekend to go to an event at UNO Lakefront Arena, this place was located within 5 miles of that place so it was perfect for my needs. I enjoyed the room, the bed was alright, the shower was nice and very clean. The TV offered great viewing options and I was able to watch my favorite show I missed while traveling on the On Demand options that were available. I was excited about that for sure! My friends and I enjoyed that we had access to lots of food options around us and everyone in the area was very hospitable and kind. There was a small casino right across the street as well, we didn't visit but that entertainment was within walking distance had we chosen to check that out.

Very clean! And they had vinyl flooring down which is a very smart touch on any hotel! The hotel room stayed at my wanted temperature and they offered free wifi which is a must now in days. The shower was amazing as well. It did not take long at all for the water to get hot. It's right next to a small shopping strip, Walmart, Walgreens, many food places, and of course a daiquiri place. I was also able to sleep like a rock there. I'm very happy I choose this place to stay for my week in New Orleans!
